Flagstone - Irregular & Dimensional

Irregular Flagstone ranges in thickness from 1 1/2” to 2 1/4” with a nominal face range of 12” to 36”. Average coverage is approximately 85 to 100 square feet per ton, depending on application style and joint widths.

Thin Veneer

Hand-Split Thin Veneer ranges in thickness from 3/4” to 2” with a nominal face range of 4” to 18”. Average coverage is approximately 100 to 110 square feet per ton when laid flat (mosaic style) and approximately 20 to 25 square feet per ton when laid on edge (drystack). Expect a waste factor of 25% to 30% in drystack applications due to shaping and trimming of the individual stones.

River Rock

River Rock is stone that has been smoothed by the forces of water and friction so there are no sharp edges. It is often used to give a more natural look to ponds and dry creek beds.

Thin River Rock covers approximately 95 to 105 square feet per ton when laid flat (mosaic style) and approximately 20 to 25 square feet per ton when laid on edge (drystack).

Thick River Rock covers an average of 35 to 40 square feet per ton when laid flat (mosaic style). Expect a waste factor of 35% to 40% when laid on edge (drystack).
